REthink Wisconsin began in the fall of 2007 by a diverse group of students committed to improving waste management across the UW campus community. Since our creation, REthink Wisconsin has successfully initiated recycling programs across the housing, Greek and athletic departments. Currently, REthink Wisconsin is partnering with UW Athletics to implement a recycling program in Camp Randall to serve 500,000 Badger fans throughout the 2008 football season. This is the first step in UW Athletics' five year initiative to dramatically increase their environmental stewardship.
